The food here is just delicious! 🍽️ the rooms are recently revamped and they are huge, even boasting an outside terrace. Plus, they have a convenient walk-in shower. the service is really helpful, and the location is charming and perfect for what we were looking for.

The property was very pretty. There was a pond with ducks and birds and the restaurant looked out to the field - very relaxing. We had room on the second floor and we appreciated the lift they had to bring our luggage up - we didn't have to carry them up the spiral stairs. The rooms were rustic and fairly large. Quite comfortable. The restaurant looked good and if we had stayed another night, we would definitely have tried it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although we had to pay for the breakfast, it was of good value. Decent spread of local delights E.G. prune pudding, caneles. And produce was fresh. We enjoyed our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer.
The only negative was the shower in the toilet. There was no shower curtain or barrier so when we showered, the entire bathroom was soaked. A little far from the port and town (15-20min walk) but there were major supermarkets nearby.

The setting of the hotel was very tranquil and well laid out. There was a small pool , which we didnt use. The restaurant was closed, which was fortunate as we found much better value in a restaurant in the nearby town.
The 'suite' which we had booked for a treat turned out to be 2 small and badly lit rooms in the attic connected by a narrow passage .Access was via two flights of a steep spiral staircase. Once we saw it , we tried to negotiate an alternative but the receptionist refused. There was a complete lack of comfort and sense of space, and although the bathroom was well fitted out it, it also had a sloping room and felt cramped. As the door was directly opposite the toilet door , skilful co-ordination in passing and use of doors was required.

Very nice location, quiet. The grounds are well done and pleasing. Close to Cancale.
We stayed in room 27. Not easy to access up the circular staircase if you have heavy luggage. The interior of the room had mansard walls, which actually had to be dodged in order to get out of bed. The bath was nicely done but lacked towel racks and the open shower resulted in water running onto the floor. The room had no sort of warmth to it. Pity the manager simply shrugged when we voiced our complaints.

Food was great and the place is lovely.
Room 28 is beatifull but as there is no A/C you have to sleep with your windos open. It is located in front of the entrance to the kitchen so there is some related noise early in the morning.

This is a good traditional hotel. Thank goodness there was no gay activity, at least in public.

Our stay at this charming country hotel was well worth the money. The room we had was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The location provided a calm and serene atmosphere, while still being a short drive away from the city center. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options to choose from.
